Indonesian performances by the Jakarta Arts Korean Children's ChoirEntertaining for Indonesian Workers in KoreaAnsan, Sunday, July 11, 2010
One group Children's Choir Korean school in Jakarta, Jakarta called the Korean Children's Choir (JKCC) which consists of 43 the Korean children's elementary school pupils, aged nine to 12 years is studying the various arts of Korea and Indonesia came visit to Korea. Choir group was accompanied by 5 people Teachers led by Ms.. Kim Young Hee. One of the main program their visit was to hold a show at the city of Ansan to provide entertainment for Indonesian Workers (TKI) in South Korea, especially those residing in Ansan city and surrounding areas. The show was held on the cooperation between the Ansan JKCC Migrant Center, led by Reverend Kim Seungil, and Korean TV Daegyo Children's Choir. The event was held on Sunday July 11 2010, held at Park Wongok-dong Ansan, starting at 15:30 until with at 18:00. Guest of honor at the event were Ambassador RI Seoul and the Reverend Kim Seungil. In his speech, Ambassador Seoul Seoul said that the Embassy welcomed the songs and performances dance by JKCC who came from Indonesia to entertain the workers. Further Ambassador Seoul expressed very proud of Korean children who was passionate about Indonesian culture and really want to learn and diligently so that they can perform introduce Indonesian culture in Korea. Overall visitors were present at the event is estimated to amount to as many as 400 people, most of whom are migrant workers and Other guests were a number of Koreans residing in the vicinity Ansan. The song featured is the prime national anthem INDONESIA RAYA a full sung solemnly and followed by all visitors. Besides It also displayed a variety of childhood songs and traditional songs regions, such as Cut Duck Goose, parrots, Ampar-Ampar Banana, Solo and others. They also show the music game Angklung, and various traditional Indonesian dances, including Balinese dance, and Saman dance from Aceh. The show will run smoothly and get applaus warm welcome and festive of all visitors. In the end of his speech Ambassador Seoul is pleased to invite all JKCC to beramah-hearted participants in Wisma Duta Embassy Seoul before they return to Indonesia.
